This policy explains what information Merisign, LLC (“Merisign,” “we,” “us”) collects through merisign.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement for that project.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, company or agency, current website, the kind of project you have in mind, timeline, budget and your message.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location and pages visited.
- Security and performance. Our site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, and our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Our hosting and security tools keep standard logs, including IP addresses and browser details, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and talk with you about a potential project.
- To understand and improve how the site works.
- To protect the site from spam, abuse and attacks.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site: our web host, Cloudflare (content delivery, security and bot protection), Google (analytics) and Mailgun (delivering form emails). They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our conversations, and analytics data for the period set in our analytics account. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
