Gill Grilling Schools

A trusted brand moving into school dining needed a launch that felt established from day one.

Gill Grilling already had a loyal customer base and a mobile app that customers knew how to use. To bring their food to private school institutions, they needed a dedicated product for school communities. It had to be fast to launch, familiar to use, and backed by a website that could explain the program to administrators and turn their interest into conversations.

A school dining app for iOS and Android, a WordPress site to win new schools, and a custom account portal that ties them together.

Rather than starting over, we adapted the interface from Gill Grilling’s original app. Its structure and flows had already been tested by real customers. This cut development time, reduced risk, and gave the school app a polished, consistent experience on both iOS and Android from launch.

Alongside the apps, we designed and developed a custom WordPress theme for schools.gillgrilling.com. Every section of the landing page can be edited through custom fields, so Gill Grilling’s team can update their messaging without a developer. A Contact Form 7 inquiry form sends school leads straight to their team.

We also built a custom account management area on the front end of the site, so users never have to touch the WordPress dashboard. Users can manage their account details, orders, payment methods, and  student profiles in a clean interface that matches the rest of the site.
